Trekking in Valley of Flowers is enriched with mesmerizing beauty. On the trek you’ll witness millions of rare flowers including the Blue Poppy and Cobra Lily bloom amongst thousands of herbs and plants endemic to the area. Naturalist who will be accompanying you on the trip will point these flowers out to you and explain their characteristics & significance in this incredible ecosystem.

You may see endangered species of animals like the Snow leopard, Asiatic black bear and the Blue
Haridwar to Govindghat/ Joshimath (Drive).
After arrival at Haridwar, you’ll be driven to Govindghat by jeep.
Distance: 300 km approx.
Drive time: 10 hours.
Govindghat to Ghangaria (3048 meters/10,000 ft).
The trek starts from Govindghat and goes to Ghangaria which is 13 km away (first 10 km is moderate, last 3 km is steep uphill). Enjoy the trail as it goes by the river and take loads of pictures en route. Overnight is at campsite in Ghangaria.
Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers (3658 Meters/12,000 ft).
Today you will trek to the valley of flowers to witness the bloom in the valley. The valley starts about 3 km from Ghangaria and you get to spend the better part of the day in the valley.
Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (4330 meters/14,200 ft).
The trek to Hemkund Sahib gurudwara which is a Sikh holy temple. Hemkund Sahib at around 4,329 meters is the highest Gurudwara in the world, nestled amongst snowy mountains. Today’s climb of about 6 km is steep at places and will take about 4 hours. Return trek to Ghangaria will take 2-3 hours as it is mostly downhill.
From Ghangaria back to Govindghat.
You will trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat– the predominantly downhill trek will take approx 3 hours.
Back to Haridwar.
Govindghat/Joshimath to Haridwar by jeep – Arrive by evening. Trip ends!
